How The Journey Started
Ariel Velazquez is a current undergraduate student at New York University with a focus on Neuroscience and Cognitive Science, complemented by a strong foundation in Philosophy. Recognized for academic excellence and a passion for interdisciplinary research, with significant experience gained through rigorous coursework and collaborative projects with esteemed professors. At NYU, not only did he maintained excellent grades (GPA of 4.00), but he covered a variety of challenging subjects, from Epistemology and Macroeconomics, to Advanced (Modal) Logic, Cognitive Neuroscience, General Chemistry, and Calculus.
Inspired by a profound session exploring the psychological impacts of Shiatsu and electrostimulation, Ariel envisioned a device that could bridge the gap between mind and body, enhancing inner dialogue and self-awareness. This vision materialized into Alchemis Pro, a bioengineering device designed to transform inner dialogue through neurostimulation. Driven by curiosity and a commitment to innovation, he founded Alchemis Lab to bring this transformative technology to life, integrating my interdisciplinary knowledge and research experiences into a pioneering startup.
